Following recent developments in online information trends, Tracing Papers has launched its own RSS News Feed on its website.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. The format has been designed for content distribution in real time: news, stories, site updates, etc.
The file is available behind this logo
Thanks to dedicated software installed on your computer (called a RSS Reader) you can monitor any new story or updates published on the website in real time.
But the big advantage comes from the fact that the Tracing Papers news feed is not the only one available on the web. Many big websites are currently providing RSS feeds to their customers: the French newspaper Libération, the Canadian Government, the BBC...
With you own collection of RSS feeds you can monitor all the websites you are regularly visiting.
Advantages: no spamming, contact details privacy, it is light, easy to manipulate and you have all the information you need on one screen!
And today, TracingPapers.org can be added to your list!
Step1: You need to install some software - RSS Reader (also called a RSS Aggregator) - which can be downloaded from different providers on the web.
Two examples:
Free RSS Reader: http://www.rssreader.com/
Feed Demon: http://www.bradsoft.com/feeddemon/index.asp
You can also type “RSS Reader” or “RSS Aggregator” in your web search engine and you will get a few references.
Note: PVC Tracing Papers or EURALIA is not responsible for the software you install on your computer and does not provide support for that. TracingPapers.org is only responsible for making the news feed available from the address http://www.TracingPapers.org/backend.php3
Step 2: Collect your RSS feeds! Copy the address of the Feed (like the one of TracingPapers.org: http://www.TracingPapers.org/backend.php3) and paste it into your reader which will store and classify them. You will now be monitoring the website in real time.
