The official position on the DINP Risk Assessment within the EU Directive 793/93 is that the original conclusion of EU Member States - no concern for any application including toys - will be maintained. The Member State Technical Experts were asked to re-evaluate the conclusions of the human health risk assessment for DINP in the light of the CSTEE opinion of the 30th October 2001. The document has still to go through final stages and publication before it becomes final.
